[VIDEO] CH0C, an industrial gas boiler that reduces CO₂ emissions by 90%

Thursday 10 April 2025

The greatly innovative CH0C low-carbon industrial gas boiler is now a reality. After almost two years of studies and work, the final touches are being put to the demonstrator at the Villers-Saint-Paul site (Oise).

Supported by ADEME (the French Environment and Energy Management Agency) as part of the France 2030 call for projects, the project has reached a decisive stage. Designed for the production of steam and industrial hot water, CH0C is set to shake up the industrial sector. It boasts unprecedented energy performance and can help cut direct CO2 emissions by over 90% in the food, chemical and paper and board industries, for example.

The boiler incorporates a number of technologies that have never before been combined in such a complementary way. What is its great innovation? The principle of oxycombustion.
